With the sale of St. Benedict's Monastery to Alex Karp, the darkness encroaches another 3,700 acres.
As you said, the devil has already lost. Despite the evil plans of those in power we’re told over and over in the Gospels “be not afraid.” I find myself repeating the prayer of St. Teresa:
Let nothing disturb you
Let nothing frighten you
All things pass
God never changes
Patience attains all that it strives for
Those who have God find they lack nothing
God alone suffices.
Thank you, Mark. As always, very informative and unfortunately, a bit scary. I am so grateful for our faith.
Thanks, Mark. I thought that Snowmass would remain the spiritual home for Contemplatives rooted ,or as in my case, re-rooted in the faith.
I did not have any knowledge about the transaction or those involved.
As always, your keen observations shine a light into the darkness.
Thanks,
Frank
